Privacy Policy

1. Controller and contact

MemoryWIK is responsible for processing data in this application. For privacy, support, or rights requests: crispmad@gmail.com.

2. Data we process

We may process email address, display name, username, birth date, profile photo, preferences, WIKs, uploaded photos and videos, comments, reactions, social relationships, messages, reminders, and technical data required for security and operation.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use data to create and protect accounts, provide requested features, display and share content according to selected privacy, deliver notices, prevent abuse, resolve incidents, and comply with law. The legal bases are performance of the service, consent where applicable, legitimate interests in security, and legal obligations.

4. Providers and transfers

Data is hosted using Supabase, and Apple services may be involved in distribution and system notifications. These providers process data under their terms and safeguards. Required safeguards apply to international transfers.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain data while the account is active and as required for legal obligations, security, and backups. You can permanently delete the account from Profile → Delete account. The account and associated data will be deleted, except for legally required retention or temporary protected backups.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection by emailing crispmad@gmail.com. You may also withdraw consent and complain to your data protection authority.

7. Security and children

We apply access controls and reasonable technical safeguards. MemoryWIK requires users to be at least 16 years old. Do not post unnecessary sensitive personal information.

Rules of Use

By creating an account, you accept these rules. MemoryWIK hosts user-generated content and does not tolerate abusive conduct.

Prohibited content and conduct

Illegal, threatening, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, fraudulent, rights-infringing content, private information shared without permission, encouragement of self-harm or harassment, spam, and impersonation are prohibited.

Reporting, blocking, and moderation

You can report content from its WIK and block users from their profiles. Reports may result in content removal, restrictions, or account termination. Serious or repeated abuse will result in removal from the service.

User responsibility

Only publish content you have the right to use. Respect privacy and the chosen audience. You are responsible for your account and must protect your credentials.
